Signing up is very easy. You just need an email address that has not been previously registered on Santander Open Academy and follow these steps:

• Access the registration
• Fill in your details — there are only 6 fields and it will take just a few minutes. Remember that your password must have at least 10 characters, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.
• Accept the privacy policy and general terms and conditions and click "Register".
• You will receive an email to verify your address (if you can't find it, check your SPAM or junk mail folder).
• Open the email, confirm your address and you're done!

If you encounter an error, you can contact us by opening a technical support ticket, explaining your problem and attaching screenshots of the error.

Anyone can register on Santander Open Academy — you do not need to be a Banco Santander customer.

Check your "Spam" or "Promotions" folder. If it hasn't arrived after 10 minutes, try requesting a resend from the login screen.

If you need to change your email address, contact us by submitting a privacy enquiry of the type "I want to modify my personal data".Include details of the change, and we will guide you through the next steps.

To recover your password, follow these steps:

• Go to Reset your password.
• Enter the email you registered with and click "Send".
• You will receive an email with instructions to change your password (if you can't find it, also check your SPAM or junk mail folder).
• Change your password and you're done!

After you apply, your candidacy is evaluated according to the criteria specified in the Legal Terms of each programme. In some cases you will need to complete a skills test. The decision is communicated on your profile (the My learning tab in the menu) and by email on the dates indicated in each call.

Yes, you can apply for multiple programmes, and we encourage you to apply for those that match your interests and needs.

Each programme includes a fact sheet with details and eligibility requirements, as well as the Legal Terms for full participation conditions.

Please note that enrolling in programmes with overlapping dates may make it difficult to complete them successfully.

As proof, you will have received a confirmation email of your enrolment. You can also access the My learning tab from the menu, where you will find all the scholarships and places you have applied for.

It is an online psychometric test that we use in some calls to measure different competencies such as logical or verbal reasoning. It helps to identify the candidate's fit with the programme's objectives. We currently use the Clevry platform, so if you receive an email from that domain it is correct and you must complete the test in order to progress through the relevant selection stages.

No, the test can only be taken once per call. We recommend doing it in a distraction-free environment with a good internet connection. For timed tests, once the countdown starts you cannot leave the test to finish it later.

Most courses issue completion and professional development certificates. If a programme awards official academic credits, this will be clearly specified in its Legal Terms.

It means there are no fixed schedules. Once enrolled, you progress at your own pace, and you can complete the modules in a day or over several weeks depending on your availability.

For now, due to copyright and constant updating, videos are streamed on the platform and are not available for offline download.

Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies, or access the course using an incognito window.

If the issue continues, use the “Help” button to report the problem.

Some programmes are delivered in multiple phases. As you progress, you may be asked to provide additional information to continue your application.

Your application will be reviewed at each stage, and you will be informed whether you move forward. Once the process is complete, you will be notified of the final decision.

Please note: If a programme is already in a later phase when you view it, you will not be able to apply.

Some programmes are specifically aimed at students from certain universities. If this is the case and your university is not among the participants, you will not be able to apply for that particular programme. But don't worry — you are sure to find other programmes you can participate in!

You can edit your application as long as the call is still open for enrolment and is not in the evaluation period. If so, follow these steps:

• Go to https://www.santanderopenacademy.com/en/index.html with your username and password.
• Open the call you applied for and click the "View my application" button.
• Edit the fields you wish to change and click the "Save and continue" button in the bottom-right corner of the form.
• Finally, accept the policies and conditions and click "Submit application".

You will receive a confirmation email of your enrolment. Once the application period has closed you will no longer be able to edit it.

Your application to an ongoing programme remains as a draft until you complete it. We invite you to finish your application by logging into your santanderopenacademy.com account with your username and password.

On each programme's page we show the key dates so you can check them. When the "Candidate selection" date arrives, you will receive an email informing you of the outcome, whether you have been selected or not.

When you receive the selection notification you will need to accept your place, either from the email you received or from the My learning section. Remember to log in with the same email you used to apply. Once you accept, you will be shown the next steps that the programme managers have set for you.

We aim to offer as many high-quality opportunities as possible, but places are limited and unfortunately not all applicants can be selected. We encourage you to keep exploring Santander Open Academy and apply for future opportunities.

If you have already accepted the scholarship, you can decline it by following these steps: Log in with your username and password. In the menu, click on your name and go to the My learning section. Select the programme you wish to decline and click "Decline place".

There is no limit on the number of courses you can enrol in, and you can complete them at your own pace.

Yes, all courses are fully funded by Banco Santander and are free of charge for participants.

Although you can access courses on a tablet or smartphone, we recommend using a computer. You will need an internet connection to access the content, as it cannot be downloaded for offline review.

Each course starts the day you enrol, and you can complete it at your own pace.

The online classes are self-paced and autonomous.

To obtain and request the certificate you must complete the entire course. You can check whether the status of each module is complete via the validation check. If it is not active, it means there is content you have not yet viewed.

• View all videos to the end.
• Pay attention to expandable elements — you need to view all content.
• Some modules have follow-up questions that must be completed.
• Once all modules are completed, the self-assessment test will be activated, which you must pass with at least 70% correct answers. You can take this test as many times as you need.

Once you pass the test, you can request your completion certificate, which will be issued with the name you registered on Santander Open Academy, within 1 hour.

Once you have completed all modules and the course self-assessment test, the "Request certificate" option will be activated. The certificate will be issued with the name you registered on Santander Open Academy within 1 hour. Return after that time to the same section to download your certificate and share your achievement with the community!

Upon completing each course you receive a completion certificate, which validates that you have successfully finished the course, similar to those from other course platforms. The certificate does not include academic credits from the associated institution, nor is it an official certification. We encourage you to share your achievements and acquired skills on your CV and professional profiles, demonstrating your commitment to continuous learning, regardless of your geographical location.

The certificate you receive once you finish the course contains:

• The brand of the certificate issuer, Santander Open Academy
• The course title
• The number of training hours
• Your first and last name

Please note that course certificates are issued by Santander Open Academy — we are responsible for the training. The content comes from the institutions we work with, which we select and curate to match current professional demands. These certificates do not include academic credits from the institution, nor are they official; in some cases they also do not include the institution's logo. We encourage you to share your achievements and acquired skills on your CV and professional profiles, demonstrating your commitment to continuous learning, regardless of your geographical location.

To change the name shown on your certificates, follow these steps:

• Log in and in your private area click on "My course classroom"
• In the left-hand side menu, click on "Settings" and then "Configurations"
• Click "Edit configurations"
• Update your name and save by clicking "Update configurations"
• Once updated, all your diplomas will be regenerated with this new name. This update will take about one hour. Return after that time and re-download your diploma(s).

To obtain the certificate you must complete the course and pass the final assessment. If you don't reach the required score, you can retake the self-assessment until you pass it. There is no penalty for trying again.

Yes. Your progress is saved automatically as you advance through the course. You can leave at any time and resume later from where you left off. As long as the course is available on the platform, you can access it and complete it at your own pace.

Yes. Each course indicates its recommended level (beginner, intermediate or advanced) in its description. Some are designed for complete beginners, while others may require prior knowledge or some familiarity with the subject. We recommend reviewing the information for each course before enrolling to make sure it matches your experience and learning goals. If you are starting in a new area, you can begin with basic-level courses and progressively advance towards more specialised content.

If you wish to modify your profile data, you can do so in My account - Edit Profile. You can also exercise your right of rectification via the contact form for privacy enquiries.

If you wish to change your communication preferences, you can do so via My account - Permissions and privacy, and check or uncheck the relevant boxes. You can also exercise your right of objection via the contact form for privacy enquiries.

If you wish to unsubscribe from the portal you can do so in My account - Unsubscribe. You can also exercise your right to erasure of your data via the contact form for privacy enquiries.

The Data Protection Officer is the person within the organisation responsible for ensuring compliance with current data protection regulations.
